This is our experiment with the omnidirectional antenna. Only one half of the total antenna.
The performance was not bad compared to the beam. In general the beams performed better, but sometimes signal from the same direction on the dipoles where equal or stronger
The omni antenna is intended for the small Es openings that we hadn't much this contest. It helped on sunday morning in the MS qso's.
